Luxury leather goods label Anonyme Paris was founded in 2014 by Vincent Guillet, former head of manufacturing at LVMH, in charge of the licensed collections for Paul & Joe, Lacroix and Mugler. The label has now opened up its capital to family investment company Mirabelle-Invest. The latter's President Gilles Pierson was a successful entrepreneur in the dental industry (with Acteon), whose equity acquisitions focus on French luxury craftsmanship companies and furniture makers, and on France's living heritage companies.

The brand is targeting international deployment - Anonyme Paris

The majority shareholding (51%) acquired by Mirabelle-Invest, alongside the doubling of the share capital (from €150,000 to €300,000) will allow Anonyme Paris to strengthen its organisation. The staff was augmented this month by the arrival of two new employees for the marketing and commercial areas. The declared objective is to speed up Anonyme Paris' international expansion, by opening a showroom in the USA and especially by launching into Asia.

Line extensions are also on the cards: next January will see the introduction of the first canvas-and-leather line, while a women's capsule collection featuring a new take on classic items will premiere in March, specifically targeted to the Asian market.

The label is also focusing on its retail business, via the store opened in 2015 at 6, rue de la Vrillière, Paris, and on wholesale distribution. Anonyme Paris was already featured in the past at the Galeries Lafayette department store, with a pop-up shop, and it is currently available at  Neiman Marcus and Luisa Via Roma.
