Presented for the first time during London Fashion Week in February, a selection of Burberry couture capes are visiting cities around the world as part of a travelling exhibition titled ‘The Cape Reimagined’.

'The Cape Reimagined' features a selection of 78 handmade capes celebrating the craftsmanship of the British label and Henry Moore's elemental sculptures - Burberry

The collection of 78 handmade and made-to-order pieces was showcased at Burberry’s Makers House in London until the end of February and subsequently presented at the Burberry flagship store in Seoul from 16-26 March.

Crafted using elaborate techniques and inspired by the scale and form of Henry Moore's elemental sculptures, the pieces are individually named and celebrate the craftsmanship behind the British brand.

"Each one is a unique collector's piece incorporating unexpected materials and intricate techniques," explains Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey.

In addition to London and Seoul, the travelling exhibition has also visited Milano and New York and is set to open in Shanghai on 14 April. Then, ‘The Cape Reimagined’ will make its return back to the US with a display at Burberry’s flagship store in Beverly Hills, LA.

The tour will end in Dubai with a final showcase from 3-7 May.
