Adwoa Aboah has broken into the makeup industry with Revlon, all in aid of girls' mental health awareness.

The supermodel and activist has teamed up with the cosmetics giant via her ‘Gurls Talk' platform, which offers young women a space to discuss topics such as female identity, mental illness, addiction, sexuality and racial diversity. Together, the duo have launched three self-care ‘Revlon X Gurls Talk' makeup kits, all of which are now available on Asos.com in the UK for a limited time, as reported by Bustle.

The kits, which are titled ‘Love Yourself', ‘Celebrate Yourself' and ‘Every Feeling', each feature a Revlon ‘Super Lustrous Lipstick', ‘Nail Enamel' and ‘Eyeshadow Putty', in pink, lilac or gold hues.

The launch is accompanied by a series of short films that sees Aboah testing out the products and talking about makeup preferences and the power of cosmetics. She is joined on camera by Tana Jane Bishop (the founder of the charity The Pants Project), activist Scarlett Curtis of The Pink Protest group, and Gurls Talk community figure Mofe Sey.

This is not the first time that Aboah and Revlon have worked together -- the fashion star was unveiled as an ambassador for the makeup label last year. The move marks the latest major milestone in the model's career, which has skyrocketed over the past few years -- the past 12 months have seen her take to the catwalk for houses including Chanel, Miu Miu and Dior, in addition to fronting campaigns for Mango, Giorgio Armani and Marc Jacobs Beauty.
