New York-based influencer Jessica Wang is the latest to partner with Amazon to launch an exclusive 'Amazon the Drop' collection.

Wang, who has a combined following of over 1 million across all her social media platforms, is known for her luxurious lifestyle, with posh outfits to match: a quick scroll through her photos reveal a bounty of brightly-colored, feminine looks with no shortage of designer tags. However, her partnership with Amazon is set to be a departure from her typical price range, with the majority of items featured on Amazon's 'The Drop' platform falling under $60.

The influencer promoted the upcoming Amazon collection, set to launch this spring, on Instagram

"This just in from @amazonthedrop and I can’t wait to wear it with my upcoming collection with @amazonfashion," Wang wrote.

"Yup, you heard right, I’m designing a capsule collection focused on bold yet feminine and elevated daywear with Amazon...Make sure to sign up for the text alerts via the link in my bio! I’ll be dropping sneak peeks throughout the month!"

Amazon first launched 'The Drop' in 2019, responding to the growing popularity of the product drop sales model that has brought companies like StockX to fame -- and which other fashion retailers like Farfetch are moving to profit from.

Amazon's take on drop culture focuses particularly on influencer partners, and the e-commerce giant has previously partnered for drops with influencers including Leonie Hanne, Charlotte Groeneveld, Paola Alberdi, Sierra Furtado and Patricia Bright.

Wang has previously worked with brands including Tom Ford, Ralph & Russo, Bulgari and Fendi, among others. Although based in the U.S., Wang was born in China and has become a rapidly rising star in the country, according to a representative.

In December 2019, she was featured on Harpers Bazaar China and has begun to produce video content for QQ.com, the second most-visited site in China.
