The luxury brand has chosen the upmarket Mayfair area in West London for its first UK standalone store.

Located at 3 Grosvenor Street, close to a variety of high-end brands, including Agent Provocateur, Mulberry, Breitling, Phillip Plein, Jigsaw and Smythson, the unit will occupy a space of 1,337 square feet across ground floor and basement.

Anine Bing has also a store at Harvey Nichols, one of London’s most prestigious department stores.

Founded in Los Angeles by Danish model Anine Bing and husband Nicolai Nielson, the brand is backed by venture capital firms Index Ventures, Greycroft Partners and Felix Capital, which have previously supported the likes of Farfetch and Glossier.

It recently opened its second location in Los Angeles, adding to a growing portfolio which also includes stores in New York, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid and Berlin, and over 300 stockists worldwide.

The London opening was announced by real estate advisor Savills on behalf of Royal London Mutual Insurance Society. Oliver Green, director in the Central London retail team at Savills, commented: “We are delighted to have secured this deal with Annie Bing for its first store in the UK. The aspirational luxury brand’s decision on location underlines the depth of demand from fashion retailers for space just off the prime pitch of Bond Street.”
