Club Monaco will give behind the scenes access of Jean Shop’s design and manufacturing process that will launch on social media platforms. “Hand distressing is a processing that is literally done by hand on every pair of jeans,” said Goldstein. “There are certain tools that are used to distress the hems of the jeans and to make whiskers and give the jean an overall vintage aesthetic. This is the old school way of crafting a jean by hand.” Goldstein’s stores have several tools that each does the job of distressing denim particularly.
