Launched in 2009 by Frédéric Mugnier and Nicolas Rohr (while they were both still students), Faguo is continuing its development with more collaborations with prestigious brands. After working with Japanese department store Isetan, the French sneaker brand has announced that it is now teaming up with Johnstons of Elgin, a Scottish brand founded in 1797 that specialises in woollen and cashmere clothing. The collection consists of a limited edition of two pairs of shoes with strong Scottish overtones.

Available in France for around 110 euros, the collaboration will allow the young French brand to open new points of sale around the world, as of November 20, including in New York, Denmark, Norway, Spain and Lebanon.

Faguo turned over 710,000 euros in sales in 2010 and expects a turnover of over 1 million euros in 2011. The brand currently operates 160 points of sale in France, of which 50 are located in multi-brand stores for children, and is present in 15 countries. Faguo’s first collection for kids just launched in Spring 2011.
