French label Ba&sh showcases homeware at Le Bon Marché department store

Ba&sh prolongs the summer holidays at Parisian department store Le Bon Marché, with the style and furnishings typical of a Mediterranean holiday home. From August 28, and until mid-October, the French womenswear label is operating the Casa Ba&sh lifestyle concession on the first floor of Le Bon Marché, featuring the label's clothes, including a capsule collection designed exclusively for the department store, and more besides.

Driven by founders Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, Ba&sh is making a foray into home decoration, showcasing at Casa Ba&sh a series of design objects and other exclusive items by guest brands Minuit (ceramics), Baobab (scented candles), Mirlo (soaps) and Domoina (wickerwork).

“A genuine invitation to escape, the place subtly evokes the organic architecture of countries that bask in the sunshine all year round: flawless design, natural materials, the colours of clay and burnished earth,” said Ba&sh.

Casa Ba&sh puts craftsmanship and natural materials centre-stage, and has also been conceived as a meeting place “for innovative, inspirational women,” a place to stage conferences, wellness sessions, concerts and workshops on themes like upcycling and ceramics, with a focus on sustainability.

“At Ba&sh, responsibility, whether social or environmental, isn’t an empty word. Naturally, the Casa Ba&sh project is consistent with this approach. We believe in sustainable transformation thanks to innovation,” said Pierre-Arnaud Grenade, who has been in charge of the label since the arrival of the L Catterton investment fund in 2015.

Ba&sh is an affordable luxury label that was founded in 2003. In 2019, it generated sales for approximately €200 million. Ba&sh is distributed via 200 stores in some 15 countries.
