In a press release, the children’s fashion brand said The Aerin x Janie and Jack Resort Collection includes a range of clothing, accessories and shoes “inspired by Lauder's refined, modern-day style and Janie and Jack's classic silhouettes, featuring a variety of pieces that combine light and bright prints and patterns with a sophisticated sensibility.”

Sizes range from 0-3 months up to size 6 in Janie and Jack stores nationwide, with sizes up to 12 available online.

Pieces in the collection are decorated with pastel watercolor and palm prints with unique designs for girls and boys. The capsule’s girls selection boasts a range of rompers, dresses and swimwear featuring eyelets, embroidery and ruffles. Highlight pieces from the boys set include linen separates, cotton shirts and shorts in an allover embroidered palm tree pattern, as well as swim trunks in striped and palm prints.

Accessories for both boys and girls include floral-accented hats and straw bags, as well as sandals, sunglasses and hair bows.

The collection also includes newborn keepsakes like silver cups, rattles and frames, in addition to light blue and pink “take-me-home styles” packaged in a watercolor-print box.

Through her association with the limited-edition capsule, Lauder, an influencer and mother of two with 267 thousand followers on Instagram, is sure to attract fans looking for refined children’s apparel.

"Aerin inspires so many with her beautiful, modern and refined style, and we are thrilled for Janie and Jack to be her partner for her first collection of clothing and accessories for children,” said Shelly Walsh, SVP and general manager of Janie and Jack, in the brand's release.

Gymboree Group, Inc., the parent company of Janie and Jack, as well as Gymboree and Crazy 8, currently operates over 900 retail stores in the United States and Canada, in addition to franchises around the world.
