Kookaï names Jessie Toulcanon director of marketing and digital

Sold by Vivarte in July 2017 to its Australian partner Magi, Kookaï continues to redefine its image. The brand has most recently taken on a new director of marketing and digital, appointing Jessie Toulcanon to the executive role.

A graduate of the Audencia Business School, Toulcanon most recently served as director of e-commerce for the Antik Batik label. Previously, she worked at Dubreil group as project marketing chief, before stints in webmarketing strategy for agencies Synodiance and Search Foresight, according her LinkedIn profile. 

Toulcanon joins the the Parisian fashion label at a time when the women's brand is looking to target a younger customer base , as per Laurence Bénat, the brand's CEO, who spoke with FashionNetwork.com in May. As a result, the brand is now targeting women aged 25 to 35 years old.

Founded in 1983, Kookaï currently operates 135 stores in France, including 70 monobrand stores, 25 stores in Spain and a dozen in Switzerland. It also has around 40 stores in Australia.
