The eargerly awaited exhibition "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty", which is the spring headline exhibition at London's Victoria & Albert Museum, has had its run extended due to high demand.

The V&A has also released more than 50,000 additional tickets for the show, which starts on March 14 and will now run until August 2. So far, V&A has sold 30,000 advance tickets and the online pre-bookable tickets are sold out for the first five weeks of the exhibition. However, tickets can still be bought in person for every day of Savage Beauty's run.

Martin Roth, Director of the V&A, said: “With just two months to go, we are seeing an unprecedented demand for Savage Beauty but we also wanted to reassure people that there are still tickets available. We are committed to providing access to as many as possible during its 20-week run and so pleased to now offer many more opportunities to see this magnificent show in London.”

Tickets have been bought by people from 57 different countries, with the highest demand outside of the UK coming from the US, followed by Ireland and Germany.
