Pentland Brands reviews management

Some important promotions have been made at the head of Pentland Brands. The division, which includes the business of Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury, Prostar, Mitre, Boxfresh as well as Kagaroos and Ellesse, saw Andy Long succeed Andy Rubin in early in 2015 as its CEO.

Now, the top exec has made some changes in the division’s organization. He has created three new positions while also making a few promotions.

Sean Hastings, who was previously vice president of products and marketing at Speedo, has been appointed global marketing director of Pentland Brands. At Speedo, Jamie Cornforth, head of strategy, planning, products & marketing will take over for Hastings as interim vice president.

Carl Davies, who was the managing director of Mitre and Prostar has been appointed global customer relationship manager. Within the sports brands segment, chief operating officer Jon Godden is taking on interim responsibility for leading Mitre and Prostar. 

Finally, Matt Rock has been promoted to global supply chain director of Pentland Brands. Previously he was managing director of the Lifestyle division, which includes footwear brands Ted Baker Footwear and Kickers an Boxfresh. Marco Ellerker, managing director of Ellesse, KangaROOS and Red or Dead succeeds Rock to his former position. The group stated that Ellerker’s successor, meanwhile, would soon be decided. 

British group Pentland is based in London, with offices in 20 countries and a global presence.
