Rafe founder Rafé Totengco and Bench produced an accessories and apparel capsule inspired by New York City. Totengco moved to New York City from the Philippines to become a fashion designer almost 30 years ago, and his first experiences with the Big Apple served as inspiration for the collection that consists of men’s and women’s apparel styles like t-shirts, poplins, and denim that feature stripes and other geometric shapes. Totengco wanted to create a “sensory overload” with the use of and combination of patterns. The capsule is rounded out with women’s clutches and other accessories.

After moving to the US, Gen Art awarded Totengco as one of Fresh Faces in Fashion and he became a member of the CFDA. In 1997, he launched his namesake handbag collection, which earned him the Best Accessories Designer (ACE award) from the Accessories Council and made him a finalist for the Perry Ellis Accessory Design Award.

Bench, the Philippine fashion retailer, first opened in 1987 and currently operates 23 locations in Asia, the Middle East, North America, Europe and Africa.
