Reiss launches Castore collab as it moves beyond core categories

Reiss has now launched the collaboration with fast-growing sports brand Castore that it briefly flagged back in September.

Reiss/Castore

The two brands have come up with a menswear collection that they said is "engineered for modern living" and that opens a new chapter in "the athleisure meets urban style conversation".

Reiss worked with the activewear firm to create a collection designed for before, during and after sports practices. It comes in a soft and classic palette with 32 pieces cut from Castore’s "cutting edge materials and assembled with their unique manufacturing methods". However, the "sartorial elements and refined details throughout the range are unmistakably Reiss", we’re told.

Prices range from £22 up to £395.

The retailer said it wanted to work with a like-minded partner that specialised in the sportswear field as it moves beyond its core workwear and occasionwear expertise.

Reiss CEO Christos Angelides said the process has been truly collaborative, leaning on the areas of expertise within each brand "to explore new, untapped opportunities". Meanwhile, Castore founder Tom Beahon said the link-up has "allowed a blank canvas approach, a chance to learn and to challenge the rules".
