ShopStyle brings in two new general managers
Online fashion and lifestyle shopping platform ShopStyle, Inc. announced on Friday that it has named Alison Stiefel as general manager of ShopStyle.com and Lindsay Jerutis as general manager of ShopStyle Collective.
In her new role, Stiefel will be in charge of all business functions of the ShopStyle.com e-commerce business and will be tasked with collaborating with retailers and brands, as well as driving improvements in customer loyalty and sales by developing the platform’s membership rewards program.
Stiefel first joined San Francisco-based ShopStyle as VP of marketing in 2016, having previously served as managing partner at marketing agency Render Union LLC and VP of marketing at Sephora.
Her prior experience also includes periods spent working in a variety of e-commerce and marketing-related roles at Serena & Lily, William’s-Sonoma, Gump’s and Sak’s Fifth Avenue.
“I am thrilled to be named ShopStyle.com's GM because I am incredibly passionate about fashion and finding new ways to share trends and brands with our members,” said Stiefel in a release.
Jerutis will be taking over as head of ShopStyle Collective, ShopStyle, Inc.’s influencer network and content monetization platform. She will be responsible for recruiting new influencers and driving affiliate revenue, as well as expanding influencer content distribution in order to increase the revenue of influencers and retail partners.
She brings close to two decades of experience to her new role and joins ShopStyle from Meredith Corporation, where she has served as VP for commerce content and strategy since September 2017, doubling the company’s affiliate marketing revenue two years in a row.
Prior to this, she spent six years at Time Inc., where she ultimately served as VP and general manager of lifestyle digital. She has also worked at Entertainment Weekly and Life Magazine.

Originally founded in 2007 as a fashion search engine, ShopStyle now boasts 10 million monthly shoppers on its e-commerce platform, as well as a network of around 20,000 influencers that use ShopStyle Collective to monetize their content, either via blogs or social channels.
Both Stiefel and Jerutis’ appointments are effective January 6, 2020.
