UK: Adam Mansell new CEO of the Fashion&Textile Association (UKFT)
Dec 7, 2015
John Miln is stepping down. He was in charge of the UK Fashion & Textile Association since 2011, and will be replaced from 1st January by Adam Mansell, formerly the association's Director of Special Projects.
Adam Mansell has notably overseen the introduction of a new retail partnership programme among UKFT members and of a series of masterclasses, and he especially advocated the setting up of an environmental programme which allowed British manufacturers to reduce CO2 emissions.
The Association's new CEO is also currently a director of the Wulff Consultancy, and the President of Ginetex, the international organisation which, since 1964, manages the care labels used in the clothing industry.
UKFT is a network which gathers together all the various players in the fashion and textile industry: from designers to retailers, to manufacturers, agents and other specialists. The Association fulfils a promotional and representational role before the public authorities, under the presidency of Princess Anne, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II.
